Avon and Hallmark Barbies

I may be mistaken, but I thought that I saw a thread a while back regarding Avon and Hallmark Barbies being added to the showcase. Does anyone remember this?

I just checked out the Avon dolls in the showcase. There hasn't been any changes there. I'd like to see the rest of the Avon and Hallmark dolls added.

I have one Avon Barbie, Angelic Harmony. I also have Avon Barbie lipgloss (for me), and an Avon Barbie necklace (for me). Any news about cosmetics and clothes for women that are Barbie?? I LOVE the Barbie fragrance!!

There have been many requests for this over the last few years, but the Mattel folks have told us the main issue is Mattel being able to find official images of these dolls.

 

I know BC LouE has a big old list of dolls missing from the Collector's Showcase. Unfortunately, this is a catch-as-catch-can kind of project, so the dolls don't get to get added often.

I hope that LOUE also has Exclusive Dolls added to the List too.

 

You would think that at least the Prototype Image, copies of the original sketches, older Advertisement Releases (from Avon, Hallmark or dealers), or NEW pictures w/Secured Logo across the image.

 

It'll probably come down to time/research/money.

I'm sure they are all on his list Roger, but I honestly wonder how many of the photos are easily available or accessible to him and the rest of the collectible department. I would think that photos would esp. tough to track down for dolls that were made for other companies. Images would probably be copyright to those companies as well as to Mattel and may be harder to find or get permission to use.

Would it be possible to use Barbie Club Members' photographs of both the Avon & Hallmark dolls? (vbg)

 

I have the Hallmark *Victorian Elegance* and Avon's *Victorian Tea*, and *Winter Velvet*-This doll began my passion for collecting Barbies.

 

I have the *Timeless Silhoutte* Barbie( Caucasian F737931), and think that she might be an Avon exclusive as well. (?)
