Alien Barbie on backorder?

Hi im so confused. She was due to be released tomorrow and now i check on it and she is back-orderd? I dont understand. Can someone explain =(

Items that are not available but are new releases are sometimes on backorder. Estimated release dates are provided but this is subject to change. Once available, the status will change from backorder to available. Thank you for your patience.

I've seen the news about Rush of Rose Gold being on sale next Wednesday, but I never saw that EOTA was supposed to be on sale tomorrow--whether it actually happens or not, if there was an initial announcement, I missed it. This worries me, because I really want that doll! Is there advance notice on most dolls (like a week or so as we got with RoRG), or is it sometimes a chance thing where you just have to check her page on the shop daily?

We expect about a mid June release on her.  She is a BC exclusive but is not a platinum doll.  The best thing is to check the site every day.

Okay, according to her page in the shop, she comes out on the 21st. I feel much better now. :)

For platinum labels (less than 1,000 produced), like Rush of Rose Gold for sale next week, go on sale on a particular day at a particular time.  It's first come, first served and these usually sell out quickly.  Because Empress of the Aliens likely has a production of several thousand dolls, it will take longer for her to sell out - but don't wait too long if you're interested in getting her!
