Guest MARYPHOTO1572384225 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Does anyone know what determines the order of the threads. The old board put the one with the most recent activity at the top. But that does not appear to be the case now. Anyone have the answer? Mary
Auntievern Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 That seems to be the case now as well. Your thread is at the top of the Modern Forum (not including the featured posts) since it was posted 14 min. ago. -- Veronica / AuntieVern ~ Member Moderator
Guest MARYPHOTO1572384225 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 What is a featured post? Maybe that makes the difference. Newest post first after featured? Mary
Auntievern Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Yes. The ones with the red push pins/exclamatikon points are featured posts. These posts are mostly started by Mods or Admns. -- Veronica / AuntieVern ~ Member Moderator
DLV98 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Aha!! The sticky at the top of the page. Now I know what they are referring to as a 'featured' post. Most of the forums I'm used to visiting refer to them as a 'sticky' because they are stuck at the top of a page and are full of useful info generally posted by a moderator of the board.
