NBAKERVAN Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I was just wondering what these reward points are for. I'm a new member this year. Valton Valton
Guest NilsaMD1572399550 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Hi Valton! the reward points program is not in use since 2005. Now we have the rewards of $20. They show up still because it is in the system (program). I'm sure the moderators will respond to you but meanwhile I hope this answers your question. quote: Originally posted by nbakervan: I was just wondering what these reward points are for. Guest BCLouE1572382628 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Basically, Nilsa's got it right. It was a program we tried out in 2005 that has not repeated since.
NBAKERVAN Posted November 15, 2007 Author Posted November 15, 2007 Thanks so much for informing me of this. Now I know. Valton Valton
Guest ILSALUND1572382530 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Why has it not been done again and will it ever be? I really thought it was a great program! *Amanda*
Guest absolutemeister Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Meister here! The rewards were geared towards deboxers. They had shoe kits, bodies, stands, and other stuff to "design your own Barbie", but there weren't any clothes. Also, if you spent $5000 or more during 2005, you could get an autographed Stolen Magic doll.
DEPP76 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I enjoy the extra $20 reward that we get now much better. When they did the point program we only got $60 in rewards. When the program stopped they started giving us $80 in rewards. I think the extra $20 is much more beneficial to everyone than that point program was. M i C h A e L : )

Guest ILSALUND1572382530 Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 The extra $20 is great if you have something to buy, but this years quality of Barbies had made me cut my spending and now I am left with a $20 and nothing to buy. Having the reward was great because I got the Sketches of the FOTW Barbies to hang in my home. Those were at least something I could use and enjoy instead of being force to but something so that I will not lose my $20 but not be excited for what I will be forced to buy! *Amanda*
