The City Smart doll was very limited in quantity available and we tried our best to communicate that issue to all collectors. As a result of that limited quantity, we limited the quantity available to a household to one as well. We apologise for any inconvenience you experienced.

I was allowed to click on to purchase the doll, choose my method of payment and shipping.But when I submitted my order, I was cut off. I own a lot of books on Barbie also and I just wonder what the Handlers would feel about Mattel doing business like this. If I were buying any other Barbie, you would have gladly taken my order. Mattel is taking the fun out of Barbie collecting. I would not have had a problem if you would have just cut the doll off. I went through this whole process thinking I was going to get the doll and than it's like you took her back. It kind of makes a person wonder if they want to collect Barbies any more.

Some other fashion dolls are limited to 750 or 500, like the Fashion Royalty and Alex,but everyone who want this dolls is able to get them !! also when you live oversea ! Shame over Mattel. sorry ,when my english is not so good,but i think you understand what i mean and feel.
