Guest BC ValerieC Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Hi inDollEmma, My Barbie Collection, a tool on this site that is free to club members, allows you to inventory dolls you own as well as keep a Wish List of dolls you still want. You can also e-mail your Wish List to friends and family. My Barbie Collection contains most Vintage dolls from 1959 to 1972, as well as most Collector dolls from 1980 to the present. Just click on the My Barbie Collection tab in the nav. bar at the top of this site. As for a CD that can be purchased, I do not know of one, although there are plenty of books out there that contain lists and lists of Barbie dolls over the years.
Guest inDollEmma Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Thankyou very much BC Valerie. Where do I see your collection? I am new here. I do appreciate the info and there is a ton of Barbie organizational "stuff" at about.com. The article suggested one could use Microsoft's powerpoint I think is what it suggested on keeping a stock number and organize. Now you said here there is a program to use? Sorry if I sound confused, it is a little late. What I want to be able to do is plug in all my dolls info, price etc and have it available to others and myself when I may be looking for a doll. My own Barbie custom search, does this make any sense? you siad nav bar to see your collection on the Barbie website, right.
Guest BCLouE1572382628 Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Hi inDollEmma, From anywhere on BarbieCollectibles.com, you can find a link to My Barbie Collection in the tan colored bar at the top of the page (it's in a small white box on the right). Click there and (if you're logged into the club) it will take you to a page where you can start your online collection. Follow the instructions there and you can set up pages and add photos for any doll that we have in either the Modern or Vintage Doll showcases. There's a section on each page where you can make notes, so you'll be able to add some of the info that you mention. Once you've set up your collection pages, you can then share the pages with your friends. Hope this helps!
