Guest wideeyedgirls Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 PJ only ever came as a redhead and her eyes were brown, rather than blue, I believe. Maybe it's Stacey you're thinking of? http://www.WideEyedGirls.com
Guest avonlori Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 When I was a little girl, my Mom suprised me one day when she gave me a talking PJ doll--she was red-headed and had the fuschia dress with orange flowers you typically find on the first talking PJ doll. However mine had shoulder-length red hair, and a bubble-cut head which was not moveable (permanent), and large blue eyes and pursed & open lips. My doll was broken by another girl who tried to turn the head and it broke off. I was very upset about that! I've been looking online for another one like her, but have yet to find one. I wonder what year she was made? She had the pink flower pull string on the back of her neck and she said "Hi, I'm PJ!" I miss her and would like to have another one someday! Thanks for your time! <>< God Bless! AvonLori
Guest ladysherotica Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 PJ only ever came as a redhead? Was that just for the talking dolls? I only remember her as a blonde! But then ... when you've reached "a certain age" the mind can trick you and I'm there! hehe Debbi
Guest AURAWHY Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 No, Talking PJ first came as a blonde with straight pigtails, wrapped with tiny 'love-beads'. Her face was made with the Midge mold. I know later editions of PJ came with brown hair, and used the Steffie mold.
Guest wideeyedgirls Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 I must have been having a blond attach myself...Thanks Aura for rescuing it http://www.WideEyedGirls.com
