When I was a little girl, my Mom suprised me one day when she gave me a talking PJ doll--she was red-headed and had the fuschia dress with orange flowers you typically find on the first talking PJ doll. However mine had shoulder-length red hair, and a bubble-cut head which was not moveable (permanent), and large blue eyes and pursed & open lips. My doll was broken by another girl who tried to turn the head and it broke off. I was very upset about that! I've been looking online for another one like her, but have yet to find one. I wonder what year she was made? She had the pink flower pull string on the back of her neck and she said "Hi, I'm PJ!" I miss her and would like to have another one someday! Thanks for your time!

PJ only ever came as a redhead? Was that just for the talking dolls? I only remember her as a blonde!

But then ... when you've reached "a certain age" the mind can trick you and I'm there! hehe

No, Talking PJ first came as a blonde with straight pigtails, wrapped with tiny 'love-beads'. Her face was made with the Midge mold.

I know later editions of PJ came with brown hair, and used the Steffie mold.
