Color board

Can a non-mod tell me what color your background posts are? Reason I don't want a mod's point of view, because I assume you see posts differently.

 

It's not any browser, cookies, monitor issues, etc... It's only seen here. My background posts are white, not light yellow. It wasn't a big deal until someone made me feel like I was seeing things that weren't there. I can prove it by screen capturing the board.

 

Posts were pink, grey, pink, yellow (if I make a post), pink (again), grey, pink....

 

Most of the time my posts are with blue text over white background, but when the post is posted, the background is yellow. 

 

I just wanted a simple answer to a simple question.

We see the very same board but have additional administrative rights. The background of your post is pink, the text is in blue. You may want to check your monitor settings as well.

 

1) The first post is in pink (your post).

2) Second post is in grey (Michelle's post).

3) The third post is in yellow (you will see your own posts often in yellow -- as a place setting/ my post).

 

Depending upon which sequence you post on the board, you may see different background colors. Is that what you're referring to? Members will see their own posts with a yellow background, but others will see it either in pink or grey.

Tony, your post above is in blue type over a light pink background (on my computer).  Michelle's post is black type over a light blue background.  The posts shown (on my computer) alternate between a light pink background, then the next one is on a light blue background, then the next one is on a light pink background and so on.  It may be that each monitor displays them differently.

This is how we see the boards, too.  You see Tony's post with the pink background, your own post is always in white background and ToyBox's post with the blue background.

Tony, your post has a pink background, then others posting after you alternate between grey and pink. My post has a white background.

I looked in my Inbox and it's white with pink text. I know I'm not cracking up.

I was talking about the posts I created. My reply posts are still light/pale yellow. Sorry for the confusion.

Actually, the background for my posts always looks yellow, so I think that varies depending on your monitor (although mine look yellow on my desktop, laptop and tablet). But it took me awhile to realize that even though they look yellow to me, they look pink or gray to everyone else. I also think it's a problem for some people who use colored fonts (not you, Tony -- your blue looks fine) -- the color they choose shows up fine on the yellow but is barely readable on the pink and gray.
