Will Klimt have the Flashdance body?

I notice that she has the pretty hand mold from the Fashionista/Flashdance dolls, so is her body pivotal? Also, she looks like she has the same skintone as the Birthstone Beauties; is she indeed that lighter skintone (and not tan)?

Reviewing the Designer Chat, BC Bill Greening did state that several dolls would be using posable/pivitol bodies but he did not mention the Klimt doll. We'll put in an inquiry about the Klimt doll for you, unless one of the Designers sees this first!

Thank you, Toybox! I hope so as I LOVE, love the Flashdance body and need lots of it in different skintones for rebodying :) I know the Barbie Basics for Fall will be the body I need, but I don't want to wait til then, lol.

 

I like the Fashionista, too, but I prefer the slimmer hips of Flashdance.

O, NOOOOooo! I hadn't thought of that! Ugh, if that's true, I just can't win! Thanks for the info, though I'm crossing my fingers and my toes it's not true, if you know what I mean!

 

I have the Harley Davidson Barbie who had only articulated legs... wonder if I can do a leg swap? I've never done one on a body like these... guess I'll be taking my questions over to "customizing" now.

Well, after waiting three weeks with no answer here, I accidentally found one nude on eBay and much to my dismay, not only are her knees stiff, she has the ugly hands of the original pivotals!! The promo pic showed her with the pretty Fashionista hands, remember? She has a GORGEOUS face but I don't want anything to do with that body. The Mona Lisa is also on eBay, and she is gorgeous as well, but again, she has that stupid body with stiff knees (and the ugly hands, but at least her promo was accurate). Yuck.

 

I'll be buying the Elvis Barbie in multiples IF her hands are the pretty type shown in the promo pic...
