Guest barbiefiend1572392856 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I wasn't sure where to ask this question. For the convention participants, is there any way to check the status of the Passport to Pink doll given to conventioneers by Mattel? They said we should expect it in about a week or two. If there is a tracking number for this, I would really appreciate knowing. Thank you.
SHEREEM Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 There is not a way to check the status of your convention gift. This gift is from Mattel but not related to the BC Shop or BFC so it will be a nice surprise when it shows up on your doorstep.
Guest mschulz1572397502 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 When we were mailed a doll from convention (Jazz Baby, Bride, Heidi) they just showed up one day. In the convention group e-mails they told us they were shipping, but that was a long time ago.
Guest Frosty3 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I just got home from Convention and was surprized to see my dolls were not here nor my Sisters at a differant address... This is my 1st convention where they are sending to my house... Thanks for the post!!! I was afraid I was the only one not to receive her since I'm just now getting home... I'm excited to know I still have a SURPRIZE from Convention!!!!!! Carrie
JUDYRAE Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I would imagine it will take a few weeks for these dolls to be mailed out. Collect what you love & you will love your collection. Bigotry wrapped in religion is still bigotry.
SHEREEM Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I would expect to see her in August. They'll have to obtain the convention attendee list, create labels, pack them up and mail them.
Guest luvyabarbie Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I this doll, Passport to Pink, just for convention (exclusive), or is it going to be something that the BFC will carry in the future? The Jazz Babies were not exclusive to us. Can't wait to see her! Sari
SHEREEM Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 This is a convention exclusive doll that is a gift to convention attendees only and will not be available for purchase.
Guest barbielvr911572395355 Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I was told by someone at the Mattel table in the salesroom that she make take 30-60 days. I am not sure if this is for receipt by conventioneers or for the whole process of getting the address's, making labels and getting the dolls and shipping them out-it will take quite a lot of work. They said at the time of Convention she was on their way to Mattel. I can hardly wait to see her IRL. Gailya
