Guest ninotzka Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I bought Movie Mixer from Ebay as NRFB. The doll arrived today and I don't know if she was NRFB or MINT. But she was broken! Her waist was loose and she couldn't keep her head up. Her face was also a bit dirty.. Buu, I'm disappointed. Can I fix her in any way? Nina
SHEREEM Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 If it were me, I'd send her back to the seller and ask for a refund as a defective product.

Guest mschulz1572397502 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I have had no luck fixing a snapped waist (from my "disaster"). I had to get a "new" doll and let her donate her body to my collection.

A dirty face!!! She should be returned.
Auntievern Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 The loose waist could be the dreaded "wobble waist" that people have been talking about on the board lately. But the dirty face?? I'd send her back! --Veronica -- Veronica / AuntieVern ~ Member Moderator
Guest pattie70 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 When I got my Movie Mixer from Amazon- the box was FILTHY! I was able to clean it- maybe that seller got theirs from amazon too? I didnt check my dolls parts......maybe I should.
Guest Blackmp Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I would think the first step is to email the seller with this information. They should take her back. I would think a body switch is one of the few ways to "fix" her. Poor thing with wobbly head AND waist.
Guest npaytonweaver1572392940 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I got a broken doll from a dealer and they sent me a new one to replace the broken one. Most reputable people and dealers will refund your money or replace the broken doll.
JUDYRAE Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I think that seller owes you a new doll or your money back. Collect what you love & you will love your collection. Bigotry wrapped in religion is still bigotry.
