Guest acoopercoady Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I recently became a barbie collector member. When I was reviewing my account I noticed "my points." What does this mean or do? THanks Amy
JUDYRAE Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 The points don't mean anything. For a year or so, every time a BFC member purchased something from Barbie Collectibles, they got points. One year we were able to get something for the points. I got a package of shoes & boots for the Silkstones. It is a software thing at this point & I think if a software or site upgrade happens, the points might go away. I just ignore them. Collect what you love & you will love your collection. Bigotry wrapped in religion is still bigotry.
DEPP76 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Judyrae is exactly right ...the points only show up because of the programming of the site but the point program was discontinued years ago, so they do not mean anything as of this point in time. M i C h A e L : )
Guest mle1820 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Do you think they will start to use the point program again?
KATHIEC Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I suppose anything is possible, but BC Lou has stated in the past that the program won't be used again. As Judy said, in a future software upgrade the counter will probably disappear.
