“This is a model that Hot Wheels has never done before!” exclaimed Jimmy Liu, Hot Wheels Director of Design. “We’ve done plenty of S and RS models before, but this will be the first time we ever release this casting in any of our Hot Wheels lines.”

“We love the sportback design that Audi did with this car,” explained Jimmy. “They enhanced its original athletic proportions while still keeping it true to the original.”
This customized model was one of the final cars beloved designer Mark Jones created before his retirement. “We love how Mark infused the subtle camber on the wheels and did his own take on the front bumper with more aggressive air dams,” said Jimmy. “The color also came out fantastic!”
